Melissa has spent 14 years honing her skills in the makeup industry, with 5 of those years as an SKM national-certified beauty instructor. Armed with a Master’s degree in MBA and an HRD trainer certification, she blends artistry with business acumen, offering a comprehensive approach to beauty training.

Hailing from a small town in Sarawak, Melissa was always passionate about art and calligraphy, and she grew up watching fashion TV shows, though she once believed a career in fashion was out of reach. After obtaining her degree and briefly working in the banking sector, she courageously decided to follow her true passion—becoming a full-time makeup artist and instructor.

Awarded ‘Best Educator’ at the Sarawak Artisan Star Awards, Melissa has dedicated herself to training aspiring artists, particularly in makeup competitions. As an Accredited Judge at the MIVA Excellent Awards and BORNEO Excellent Skills Awards, she dreams of taking Sarawak’s talents to the international stage. Her vision is already being realized, as her students have won multiple championship titles in prestigious competitions.

Through her work, Melissa continues to inspire young artists to pursue their dreams fearlessly, no matter where they come from, proving that passion and dedication can lead to incredible success.
