Makeup artistry is the creative practice of using cosmetics and techniques to enhance or transform an individual’s appearance, often for beauty, fashion, film, or special effects. It is a skilled profession that requires expertise in color theory, facial anatomy, and the latest beauty trends.
MIVA (Malaysia International Vocational Association) includes makeup artistry as a competition to celebrate and elevate the craft, provide a platform for aspiring and professional makeup artists to showcase their talents, and promote vocational skills on an international stage. Through this competition, MIVA aims to foster creativity, recognize excellence, and encourage professional growth in the field of makeup artistry.

Eligibility Criteria
The MIVA Aromatherapy Competition is open to individuals aged 16 and above, regardless of nationality or gender, across all categories.
