Nail Artistry

(N4LP) Nail Artistry - Acrylic Extension Sculture

1 HAND – 2 finger

*Any contestant who does not follow the rules and regulations will automatically be disqualified OR point deductions.  

  1. Contestant must be ready 10 min to setup before the competition start.
  2. The model’s natural nail may be prepared before the competition, BUT product not be applied until the competition starts, Model’s natural nail free-edge should be less than 1mm.
  3. Contestant must complete the INDEX FINGER and MIDDLE FINGER  during the competition in 30 min 
  4. Acrylic sculpture for the thumb, ring finger, and pinky finger should be completed before the competition.
  5. The nail must be complete with SQUARE shape and must NOT exceed 0.5cm beyond the fingertip, violators will be point deduct.
  6. Must use sculpture nail form and cured gel to complete, failure to comply by using nail tips point will be deducted
  7. Only CLEAR , COVER PINK or PINK crystal powder product are allowed to be use, Glitter or Shimmering gel product are not allowed.
  8. Injuries to the model’s cuticles are not considered in the scoring criteria, point will be deducted.
  9. C-curve should be 30% – 40% consistent from nail to nail.
  10. Electric drill machine are NOT allowed to use.
  11. MUST buff to high shine, NO top coat allowed, violators point will be deducted.
  12. Cuticle oil, nail file,c-curve stick,tweezers, water spray, towel and wet tissue may be used.
  13. Contestant table must be clean before leave the competition area.
  14. Contestant must bring your own tools and extension cord as it is NOT provided.

(N4P) Nail Artistry - “AI Smart World” Creative Flat Gel Art Design

  1. Competition Objective

This competition focuses on creative expression and technical precision, evaluating participants’ skills in flat gel nail art design, creativity, and thematic expression. Participants are required to adhere to the theme “AI Smart World”, creating artistic works that showcase a sense of technology and futurism using gel materials on nail tips.

  1. Scoring Criteria
  • Creative Expression: The work must fully embody the “AI Smart World” theme, incorporating elements of technology, futurism, and intelligence.
  • Technical Details: The design must demonstrate intricate detailing, smooth edges, natural color transitions, and a flawless finish with no visible defects.
  • Overall Aesthetic: The color scheme must be harmonious, the layout balanced, and the work must deliver a strong visual impact.
  • Cleanliness and Neatness: The surface must be smooth, free of air bubbles, impurities, excess gel marks, or stains.
  1. Competition Rules

(1) Competition Tasks

  1. Creative Theme: “AI Smart World”:
  • Participants must create designs centered on the theme “AI Smart World”, incorporating futuristic elements such as data streams, chips, circuit boards, and technological symbols.
  • The use of gel materials to create visually impactful, technology-inspired patterns is highly encouraged.
  1. Box Display Requirements:
  • Size Restrictions: The finished work must be securely fixed within a transparent acrylic box. The box dimensions must not exceed 20cm (L) × 15cm (W) × 15cm (H).
  • Material Requirements: The box must be made of colorless, transparent acrylic; glass or other opaque materials are not permitted.
  • Structure Requirements: The box lid must be removable for the judges to inspect the details of the design. Sealed or glued boxes are not allowed.
  1. Nail Tip Design Requirements:
  • Type: Participants must use standard, commercially available nail tips; custom-made nail tips are prohibited.
  • Size Restrictions: Each nail tip must not exceed 9cm in length and 2cm in width.
  • Design: The design must be a flat gel creation, hand-painted using gel paints. 3D sculptures or dimensional decorations are not allowed.
  • Quantity: Each box must contain five nail tips of different sizes, arranged neatly and logically.
  • Top Coat: All nail tips must be coated with a top gel to ensure a flawless finish and enhance the overall gloss.
  1. Fixation and Display Requirements:
  • Nail Tip Fixation: The nail tips must be securely attached to the bottom or appropriate position within the acrylic box to prevent shifting or detachment during display.
  • Display: The design must be centered within the box, ensuring clear visibility of the nail tips from all angles. No additional decorations, fillers, or background enhancements are allowed inside the box.

 

(2) Prohibited Actions

  1. Using non-standard nail tips or tips exceeding the specified dimensions of 9cm × 2cm.
  2. Using an acrylic box that exceeds the specified dimensions of 20cm × 15cm × 4cm.
  3. Incorporating 3D sculptures, rhinestones, or other dimensional embellishments.
  4. Adding extra decorations, fillers, or background materials inside the acrylic box.
  5. Including personal information or identifiers such as names or logos in the design.
  6. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
  1. Competition Process

(1) Submission and Display

  1. Contestants must submit their artworks to the designated area at least 1 hour before the competition begins. Late submissions will be treated as a withdrawal from the competition.
  2. After submission, the organizer will assign a unique number to each artworks. Contestants are not allowed to add any marks or identifiers.
  3. Judges will evaluate the work based on the established criteria, considering technical, creative, and overall performance.

(2) Work Retrieval

  1. After the judging process is complete, contestants can collect their artworks from the designated location at 5:00 PM on the day of the competition.
  2. Contestants must show their contestant number to verify their identity and retrieve their work. Any unclaimed works will be handled by the organizer after the deadline.
