(M6P) Make Up Artistry - “AI Inspiration” Creative Poster Design

  1. Competition Objective

This competition centers on the theme “AI Inspiration”, encouraging participants to draw creative influence from artificial intelligence, future technology, digital aesthetics, and the relationship between humans and machines.
By integrating makeup artistry, photography, and visual design, contestants are required to create a visually compelling and concept-driven poster that expresses futuristic beauty and artistic innovation, exploring the limitless possibilities of makeup in the AI era.

  1. Scoring Criteria

1. Makeup Design & Creativity

    • Whether the makeup design clearly reflects the “AI Inspiration” theme, such as futurism, technology, digital aesthetics, or human–AI fusion
    • Originality, uniqueness, and artistic expression of the overall makeup concept
    1. Technical Details & Completion
    • Precision and refinement of makeup details (e.g. lines, layering, color control)
    • Overall professionalism and completeness of the makeup execution
    1. Photography & Visual Impact
    • Effectiveness of composition, lighting, color tone, and background in enhancing the makeup concept
    • Overall visual impact and futuristic atmosphere of the poster
    1. Theme Expression & Overall Harmony
    • Clarity and strength of the “AI Inspiration” theme presentation
    • Coordination and harmony between makeup, model styling (hair, costume, accessories), and the overall poster design

 

  1. Competition Rules

(1) Poster Content

    1. Makeup Close-Up
      • Clear presentation of makeup details and creative design
      • Emphasis on textures, colors, structure, metallic or futuristic elements
    2. Model Half-Body Shot
      • Must demonstrate harmony between makeup and overall styling, including costume, hairstyle, and accessories
      • Should convey a complete visual story inspired by AI aesthetics
    3. Composition Requirements
      • Composition must be clear and well-balanced
      • Key makeup elements must not be obstructed, and the theme should be easily recognizable
    4. Model Requirements
      • Models may be male or female

(2) Photography Requirements

    1. Creative Freedom
      • Participants may freely design the background, lighting, color grading, and visual effects according to the “AI Inspiration” theme
      • Use of props, projections, digital visuals, or photography techniques is allowed to enhance the futuristic concept
    2. High-Quality Presentation
      • Photographs must be clear, sharp, and artistically presented
      • Poor image quality, blurriness, or exposure issues that affect presentation are not acceptable

(3) Poster Size & Medium

    1. Size Requirement
      • Poster size must be A3 (297mm × 420mm)
    2. Printing Medium
      • Posters must be printed on 5mm thick foam board to ensure consistent display quality
    3. Specification Compliance
      • All contestants must strictly follow the stated size and material requirements
      • Posters that do not comply with the specifications will be disqualified

(4) Prohibited Actions

    1. The contestant’s name, logo, or any identifying information must not appear on the poster to ensure anonymous judging
    2. Excessive digital retouching of the makeup is prohibited; the makeup must reflect the actual finished work
    3. Submitting poster content that does not match the actual makeup design is prohibited
    4. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited; all designs must be original or legally traceable adaptations

 

  1. Competition Process

(1) Submission & Display

    1. Contestants must submit their printed poster to the designated area at least 1 hour before the competition begins
      • Late submissions will be considered a withdrawal from the competition
    2. After submission, the organizer will assign a competition number to each poster
      • Contestants are not allowed to add any personal identifiers
    3. Judges will evaluate the works based on the official scoring criteria, focusing on technical skill, creativity, and overall presentation

(2) Work Retrieval

    1. After judging is completed on the competition day, contestants may collect their posters at the designated location at 5:00 PM
    2. Contestants must present their competition number for identity verification
    3. Any unclaimed posters will be handled by the organizer

 

(M6P) Make Up Artistry - “Phantom” Creative Poster Design

  1. Competition Objective

This competition encourages participants to create unique and visually impactful works by integrating makeup artistry, photography, and visual design under the central theme of “Phantom.” Participants must use high-quality posters to showcase their creative makeup and overall styling, exploring the limitless possibilities of makeup as an art form.

  1. Scoring Criteria
  • Makeup Design and Creativity: Assessment of whether the makeup reflects the mystery and creativity of the “Phantom” theme, with a standout and unique style.
  • Technical Details and Completion: Evaluation of the precision in makeup details and whether the overall work reaches a high level of completion.
  • Photography and Visual Impact: Judgement of whether the composition, lighting, and background complement the makeup style and enhance the visual impact of the piece.
  • Theme Expression and Coordination: Assessment of whether the work aligns with the “Phantom” theme and achieves harmony among the makeup, model styling, and overall poster design.

  2. Model Half-Body Shot: Presentation of the coordination between makeup and overall styling, including attire and hairstyle, to tell a complete visual story.
  3. Composition Requirements: Participants must select appropriate angles and compositions to avoid obstructing key makeup elements and ensure clear representation of the theme.
  4. Model Requirements: Models can be male or female.

(2) Photography Requirements

  • Creative Freedom: Participants may freely design the background, lighting, and special effects according to the “Phantom” theme. Use of props and photography techniques to enhance creative expression is permitted.
  • High-Quality Presentation: The photograph must be clear and artistic, avoiding quality issues that may impact the display effect.

(3) Poster Size and Medium

  1. Size Requirement: The poster must be A2 size (420mm x 594mm).
  2. Printing Medium: All posters must be printed on 5mm thick foam boards to ensure a consistent display quality.
  3. Contestants must ensure that their posters meet the specified requirements. Any poster that does not meet the specifications will be disqualified from the competition.

(4) Prohibited Actions

  1. The addition of the contestant’s name, logo, or any other identifying information on the poster is prohibited, as it may affect the anonymity of the judging process.
  2. Excessive retouching (such as modifying hairstyle imperfections) is prohibited.
  3. Submitting content that does not reflect the actual hairstyle work is prohibited.
  4. Plagiarism is prohibited.
