(H5P) Hairdressing - Elegant Hairstyle Poster (Hair Bun)

1. Competition Objective

  • Through the artistic presentation of elegant hairstyles inspired by formal evening styling, participants are required to demonstrate their ability to create distinctive updo designs.

  • This competition aims to evaluate participants’ styling creativity, artistic expression, and visual presentation skills, conveying a sense of noble elegance, beauty, and strength.

2. Judging Criteria

  • Creative Expression: Whether the hairstyle design demonstrates uniqueness and strong visual impact, and whether the upper-body presentation reflects the artistic characteristics of a noble and elegant style.

  • Overall Coordination: The harmony between the hairstyle design and hair accessories, as well as how well the hairstyle complements the model’s attire, makeup, and overall styling theme.

3. Competition Rules

(1) Poster Content

  • Hairstyle Requirements: The hairstyle must fully reflect a noble and elegant styling theme, incorporating bold structures, three-dimensional forms, and innovative integration. No specific cutting techniques are required; emphasis is placed on overall creativity and artistic expression.

  • Upper-Body Model Image: The poster must showcase the coordination between the hairstyle and the model’s outfit.

  • Creative Freedom: Participants may use hairpieces, decorative elements, and other supporting materials. Bold innovation is encouraged.

  • Model Requirement: The model may be female.

(2) Photography Requirements

  • Creative Freedom: Participants are free to choose composition, lighting, and background based on their creative concept. Bold experimentation is encouraged to fully showcase personal style.

  • The use of props, special effects, or background elements is permitted to enhance creative expression.

(3) Poster Size and Medium

  • Size Requirement: The poster must be in A2 size (420 mm × 594 mm).

  • Printing Medium: All posters must be printed on 5 mm thick foam board to ensure consistency in display quality.

  • All participants must ensure their posters strictly follow the specified requirements. Posters that do not meet the specifications will be disqualified.

(4) Prohibited Items and Actions

  • Adding the participant’s name, logo, or any identifying marks that may affect anonymous judging is strictly prohibited.

  • Excessive photo retouching that alters the original appearance of the hairstyle is not allowed. The poster must accurately reflect the actual design and technique.

  • Submitting content that does not match the actual hairstyle work is prohibited.

  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

4. Competition Procedure

(1) Submission and Display

  • On the competition day, participants must submit their printed poster to the designated area at least one hour before the competition begins. Late submissions will be regarded as a withdrawal from the competition.

  • The organizer will assign and attach a number label to each poster. Participants must not add any personal identifiers.

  • Judges will evaluate the works based on the judging criteria, focusing on technical quality, creativity, and overall presentation.

(2) Poster Collection

  • After the judging process on the competition day, participants may collect their posters from the designated location from 5:00 PM onwards.

  • Participants must present their competition number to verify their identity when collecting their posters.

  • Posters not collected within the specified time will be disposed of by the organizer.
