1. Competition Objective

This competition evaluates participants’ professional skills in special effects makeup techniques, creative expression, and overall styling coordination. Participants must create a makeup design that embodies the “Incomplete Angel” theme, showcasing the coexistence of external “imperfection” and inner “purity” within the given time frame.

2. Scoring Criteria

• Makeup Technique: Assessment of detailed makeup work, the realism of special effects elements (e.g., cracks, textures), and overall material coordination.
• Creativity and Theme Relevance: Evaluation of whether the makeup design aligns with the “Incomplete Angel” theme and effectively contrasts imperfection with purity.
• Overall Coordination: Judgement of the harmony between the makeup and the model’s overall styling (attire and accessories), and whether the makeup complements the model’s features.

3. Competition Rules

(1) Competition Content

1. Makeup Technique: Assessment of detailed makeup work, the realism of special effects elements (e.g., cracks, textures), and overall material coordination.
2. Creativity and Theme Relevance: Evaluation of whether the makeup design aligns with the “Incomplete Angel” theme and effectively contrasts imperfection with purity.
3. Completion Ratio: 80% of the makeup must be completed before the competition, with the remaining 20% finished live on-site (e.g., refining key areas or adding light effects).
4. Overall Coordination: Judgement of the harmony between the makeup and the model’s overall styling (attire and accessories), and whether the makeup complements the model’s features.

(2) Competition Time

• The competition duration is 30 minutes. All actions must be completed within the time limit.

(3) Contestant Grooming Requirements

1. Dress Code: Contestants must wear the uniform provided by the organizer, paired with appropriate pants and shoes to reflect a professional image.
2. Hair Requirements: Hair must be neatly styled, clean, and well-groomed. If the hair is long, it may be tied back to maintain cleanliness and professionalism.
3. Overall Appearance: Contestants must maintain a tidy and clean appearance, without excessive accessories or heavy makeup, to ensure a professional look.

(4) Tools and Products

1. Required Equipment: Participants must bring their own makeup tools and products according to the makeup requirements. Brand restrictions do not apply, but all products must meet safety standards.
2. Extension Cords: Contestants must bring their own extension cords; the organizer will only provide one electrical outlet per participant.

(5) Prohibited Actions

1. Use of horror makeup elements (e.g., excessive gore or frightening designs) is not allowed, ensuring adherence to the aesthetic of the “Incomplete Angel” theme.
2. Use of live organisms (e.g., insects, reptiles) as part of the makeup or styling is prohibited.
3. Use of irritant makeup products or those that have not passed safety certification is prohibited.
4. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

4. Model Requirements

(1) Model Conditions

Participants must bring their own models. Models can be male or female with healthy skin, free from significant sensitivities or visible damage.

(2) Model Clothing

1. Clothing and Accessories:

• Models’ attire must align with the “Incomplete Angel” theme, featuring either simple elegance or creative effects (e.g., distressed fabrics or white veils).

2. Prohibited Items:

• Models must not wear accessories or hats that obscure the makeup.

5. Safety and Hygiene

(1) Tools and Products

1. All tools must be disinfected before and after the competition to ensure no risk of cross-contamination.
2. Makeup products must be certified safe and non-irritating to the model’s skin.

(2) Work Area Cleanliness

1. Contestants must ensure that their workstations (tables and chairs) are tidy, with no tools, products, or waste left behind.
2. After the competition, contestants should promptly clean up their tools and products and restore the workstation to a tidy condition.

6. Competition Process

(1) Pre-Competition Preparation

1. Contestant and Model Check-in:

• Contestants must arrive at the designated area with their model at least 15 minutes before the competition starts for check-in.

(2) Competition Segment

1. Competition Start: Contestants have 30 minutes to complete all actions.
2. Competition End: Contestants must stop immediately when time is up. Any unfinished work will not be counted in the scoring.

(3) Model Presentation

1. Contestants are not required to move the model. The model should remain standing or sitting in their original position while waiting for evaluation by the judges.
