(H2P) Hairdressing - Ladies Creative Cut and Color (Dummy Head)

  1. Competition Objective
  • To assess participants’ professional skills in cutting techniques, styling skills, and overall design coordination through the creation of a women’s trendy creative cut-and-color hairstyle on a mannequin head.
    • Participants must present a women’s trendy creative cut-and-color hairstyle, demonstrating technical proficiency and creative expression through cutting and blow-styling techniques.

 

  1. Judging Criteria
  • Creativity: Whether the hairstyle design is unique, visually impactful, innovative, and aligned with the competition theme.
    Cutting and Blow-Drying Techniques: Smoothness of cutting lines, clarity of layers, and the level of skill demonstrated through blow-styling.
    Coloring Effect: Natural color transitions and harmonious color combinations that complement the hairstyle style.
    Overall Coordination: Whether the hairstyle matches the mannequin head’s attire and overall presentation.

 

  1. Competition Content
  • Creative Cutting: Complete a women’s trendy creative haircut on a mannequin head and demonstrate blow-styling techniques. The haircut must feature a multi-layered design.
    Coloring Effect: The mannequin head’s hair must include at least two colors. Color transitions must be natural and coordinated with the cutting style. All coloring must be completed before the competition.
    Work Completion: The final work must be 100% completed.
    Overall Styling: The mannequin head’s clothing and accessories must align with the competition theme and enhance the overall visual effect.

 

  1. Competition Time
  • The competition duration is 30 minutes.

 

  1. Participant Appearance Requirements
  • Dress Code: Participants must wear the official top provided by the organizer, paired with appropriate pants and footwear to reflect a professional image.
    Hair Requirement: Hair must be neatly groomed, clean, and tidy. Long hair should be properly tied back to maintain cleanliness and professionalism.
    Overall Appearance: Participants must maintain a clean and professional appearance. Excessive accessories or heavy makeup are not permitted.

 

  1. Prohibited Items and Actions
  • Use of hair extensions is prohibited.
    • Use of colored sprays to retouch or cover the dyed areas is prohibited.
    • Use of severely damaged mannequin heads is prohibited.

 

  1. Mannequin Head Specifications

(1)Material

  • Participants must provide their own mannequin head.
    • Hair material is not restricted (e.g., human hair, goat hair, heat-resistant synthetic fiber, etc.). Participants may freely choose materials suitable for competition requirements.
    • The selected material must support cutting, coloring, and styling, and provide good presentation quality.
    • The mannequin head must be equipped with a stable stand.
    • The stand height must be adjustable within 100 cm to 150 cm to meet display requirements.

(2)Cleanliness

  • The mannequin head must be clean and tidy, free from oil, dye residue, or other impurities.

(3)Coloring and Accessories

  • The mannequin head must be suitable for coloring and styling. All products used must be safety-certified.
    • Accessories may be freely used but must not obstruct the main hairstyle design and must be consistent with the competition theme.

 

  1. Competition Procedure

(1) Submission and Display

  • On the competition day, at least one hour before the event begins, participants must submit their completed work to the designated area. Late submissions will be considered a withdrawal from the competition.
    • The organizer will uniformly label each work with a competition number after submission.
    • Participants are not allowed to add any identification marks to their work.
    • Judges will evaluate the works based on the judging criteria, focusing on technical skills, creativity, and overall presentation.

(2) Work Collection

  • After the judging concludes on the competition day, participants may collect their mannequin head works from the designated area at 5:00 PM.
    • Participants must present their competition number to verify their identity before collecting their work.
    • Any uncollected works after the specified time will be handled by the organizer.

(3) Pre-Competition Preparation

  • Participant Check-In: Participants must arrive at the designated location at least 15 minutes before the competition starts to check in.
