Model Information Card Template

(B2L) Beauty Therapy Deep Skin Management

Designated Procedures:

Makeup Removal – Facial Cleansing – Acupressure Technique – Soft Mask

Competition Objective:

In addition to evaluating participants’ professional skills in basic skincare procedures such as makeup removal, cleansing, and mask application, this competition also assesses proficiency in acupressure techniques. Participants must complete all designated procedures within the specified time, demonstrating smooth technique execution and proper time management.


Judging Criteria:

1. Cleansing Effectiveness

  • Whether makeup is thoroughly removed from the model’s face

  • Whether the procedure is performed gently

2. Acupressure Technique

  • Accuracy of pressure points

  • Rhythm control

  • Smoothness of technique

  • Appropriate pressure strength

3. Mask Application and Removal

  • Whether the mask is applied evenly

  • Professional mixing ratio of the soft mask

  • Whether the soft mask presents a grainy texture

  • Whether the mask is completely removed

  • Whether time control is appropriate and well managed

4. Cleanliness

  • Overall neatness and cleanliness of the competition area (before and after the competition)


Point Deduction Criteria:

  1. Incomplete makeup removal (residual makeup remains)

  2. Uneven mask application (uneven thickness or untidy application)

  3. Improper acupressure posture and lack of continuity in technique

  4. Residual mask left on the model’s face

  5. Exceeding the allocated time

  6. Untidy working surface


Competition Procedures:

1. Cleansing

  • Thoroughly cleanse the model’s face to remove light makeup, oil, and impurities

2. Acupressure Technique

  • Correct stimulation of meridian acupressure points (such as Fengchi point, temple area, mandibular angle, etc.)

3. Mask

  • A soft mask must be used uniformly

  • Select a suitable product according to the model’s skin type

  • Apply evenly, allow to set, and remove thoroughly


Competition Environment:

1. Model

  • The model’s head must rest against the back of a chair

  • Feet placed flat on another chair

  • The body should remain relaxed to ensure comfort throughout the procedure

2. Participant

  • The participant must stand behind the model’s head

  • No obstacles are allowed between the participant and the model

  • Procedures must be carried out according to the required sequence


Appearance Requirements for Participants and Models:

  1. Participants must wear a white professional beauty uniform with covered shoes (slippers are prohibited)

  2. Hair must be neatly tied up, not left loose; no accessories are allowed to maintain a professional image

  3. Participants must provide their own female model with healthy skin and no severe allergies; the model must enter with light makeup (including foundation, eyebrow makeup, eye makeup, and lip makeup)

  4. Models must dress appropriately in a simple and neat manner; hats or any accessories that cover the face are prohibited


Product Requirements:

  1. Participants must select suitable products according to the model’s skin type

  2. Only soft masks are permitted for this competition; other types (such as clay masks, sheet masks, or gel masks) are not allowed


Tools and Supplies:

  1. White small towels (3–5 pieces), approximately 30cm × 70cm (for head wrapping, hand wiping, etc.)

  2. White large towels (1–2 pieces), approximately 70cm × 140cm (for covering the model’s shoulders, neck, chest, and legs)

  3. Facial towels, cotton pads, mask brushes, treatment bowls, small trash bins, wash basins, and other necessary small tools

  4. Main products: makeup remover, facial cleanser, massage cream, and soft mask
    Secondary products: moisturizing lotion, repairing serum, and sunscreen, etc.

  5. Each participant must prepare at least 2 liters of clean water for cleansing procedures (makeup removal, mask removal, etc.). Water must be stored in well-sealed containers


Safety and Hygiene:

  1. All tools must be disinfected before and after the competition to prevent cross-contamination

  2. All skincare products used must comply with safety standards and be confirmed suitable for the model’s skin type; appropriate quantities should be used to avoid discomfort

  3. Participants must maintain cleanliness in their working area throughout the competition, with tools and products neatly arranged

  4. After the competition, participants must clean up their working area and dispose of waste in their personal trash bins to maintain overall venue hygiene

(B2L) Beauty Therapy Facial & Neck Massage

  1. Competition Objective

The competition aims to evaluate participants’ professional skills in facial and neck massage, focusing on precision, technique, pressure control, and overall fluidity. Participants must demonstrate classical massage techniques and complete facial and neck massage within the allotted time, showcasing immediate results and ensuring the model’s comfort.

  1. Scoring Criteria
  • Technique Accuracy: Movements must be precise, smooth, and align with classical massage requirements.
  • Pressure Control: Pressure must be consistent and appropriate, avoiding discomfort or excessive strain on the model’s skin.
  • Model Comfort: The model should feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.
  • Immediate Results: The massage should visibly improve skin and shoulder conditions, such as lifting effects, improved circulation, and enhanced relaxation.
  • Product Use and Hygiene: Steps must transition smoothly; tools must be used correctly; products must be appropriate, and the workspace must remain clean and hygienic.
  1. Competition Rules

(1) Competition Content

  1. Preparation: Models must arrive with a bare face, and no cleansing is required before the massage begins.
  2. Massage Steps:
  • Facial Massage: Participants must include techniques such as lifting, lymphatic drainage, and soothing movements for relaxation.
  • Neck Massage: Participants must focus on the sides of the neck to alleviate muscle tension and improve blood circulation.
  1. Finishing Touches: After the massage, participants must gently wipe away any residual massage products using cotton pads to ensure the model’s skin is clean and comfortable.

(2) Competition Time

  • The competition duration is 30 minutes. All actions must be completed within the time limit.

(3) Model Positioning and Work Environment

  1. Model Positioning: The model should recline with their head resting on a chair back, feet placed on another chair, maintaining a relaxed and comfortable position throughout the process.
  2. Participant Positioning: Participants must stand behind the model’s head (no obstructions between the participant and the model’s head) and adjust their posture as necessary.

(4) Contestant Grooming Requirements

  1. Dress Code: Participants must wear a white professional beautician uniform paired with white shoes to reflect a professional image.
  2. Hair Requirements: Hair must be neatly tied back, avoiding loose strands to maintain cleanliness and professionalism.
  3. Overall Appearance: Participants must present a clean and tidy appearance, avoiding excessive accessories or heavy makeup.

(5) Tools and Products

  1. Tools:
  • Small Towels (3-5, white): For wiping excess products from the face and shoulder area; recommended size 30cm × 30cm.
  • Large Towels (1-2, white): To cover the model’s shoulders and chest, preventing stains on clothing; recommended size 70cm × 140cm.
  • Cotton Pads: For removing massage products.
  • Waste Disposal: Small trash bins or boxes for discarded cotton pads, with a recommended capacity of 3-5 liters.

  • Lubricants: Lightly scented or unscented massage creams or oils that are easy to apply and clean.
  1. Model Requirements

(1) Model Conditions

Participants must bring their own models. Models must be female with healthy skin and no severe sensitivity or allergic reactions.

  • Models must arrive with a bare face, without makeup or skincare products applied.

(2) Model Clothing

  1. Style Requirements:
  • Clothing must be simple and modest, exposing the shoulders for easier massage access (e.g., off-shoulder or strapless tops). A towel must cover the body below the shoulders.
  1. Prohibited Attire:
  • Overly revealing or inappropriate clothing for the competition setting is not allowed.
  1. Safety and Hygiene

(1) Tools and Products

  1. All tools must be sanitized before and after the competition to ensure no cross-contamination risks.
  2. All skincare products used must comply with safety standards and be suitable for the model’s skin type.

(2) Model Protection

  1. Participants must ensure appropriate product quantities are used to avoid overloading or discomfort for the model.

(3) Work Area Cleanliness

  1. Contestants must ensure that their workstations (tables and chairs) are tidy, with no tools, products, or waste left behind.
  2. After the competition, contestants should promptly clean up their tools and products and restore the workstation to a tidy condition.
  1. Competition Process

(1) Pre-Competition Preparation

  1. Contestant and Model Check-in:
  • Contestants must arrive at the designated area with their model at least 15 minutes before the competition starts for check-in.

(2) Competition Segment

  1. Competition Start: Contestants have 30 minutes to complete all actions.
  2. Competition End: Contestants must stop immediately when time is up. Any unfinished work will not be counted in the scoring.

(3) Model Presentation

  1. Contestants are not required to move the model. The model should remain standing or sitting in their original position while waiting for evaluation by the judges.

  3. The card must be printed on A4-sized paper with clear text and placed prominently on the workstation.
