1. Competition Objective
Through the design and artistic presentation of elegant hairstyles inspired by formal evening banquet styling, participants are required to demonstrate their ability to create a unique and noble updo style.
This competition aims to evaluate participants’ styling creativity, artistic expression, and technical presentation skills, conveying a sense of elegance and refined beauty.
2. Judging Criteria
Creative Expression: Demonstration of hairstyling techniques, balanced head-and-shoulder proportions, cleanliness, originality, and whether the hairstyle reflects the artistic characteristics of an elegant and noble style.
Overall Coordination: The harmony between the hairstyle design and hair accessories, as well as how well the hairstyle complements the model’s evening gown, outfit, makeup, and overall styling theme.
3. Competition Rules
Hairstyle Requirements: The hairstyle must fully reflect an elegant and noble styling theme, incorporating bold structures, three-dimensional forms, and innovative elements. No specific techniques are required; emphasis is placed on overall creativity and artistic expression.
The hairstyle presentation must demonstrate strong coordination between the hairstyle and the model’s attire.
Model Requirement: The model must be female.
4. Competition Time
The competition duration is 30 minutes. All styling operations must be completed within the allotted time.
5. Competitor Appearance Requirements
Dress Code: Participants must wear the official uniform top provided by the organizer.
Participants should pair the uniform with appropriate trousers and footwear to maintain a professional appearance.
Hair Requirements: Hair must be neat and clean. Long hair should be properly tied back to ensure cleanliness and professionalism.
Overall Appearance: Participants should maintain a neat and presentable look, avoiding excessive accessories or heavy makeup, to reflect a professional image.
6. Tools and Products
Participants must bring their own required tools and products.
The organizer will provide one power outlet per participant.
Pre-Competition Preparation: Up to 80% of the model’s updo hairstyle may be completed before the competition.
Creative Freedom: Participants are free to develop their own concepts. Bold innovation is encouraged, and the use of various tools and special elements is permitted to enhance creative expression.
7. Prohibited Items and Actions
The use of colored spray products is strictly prohibited.
8. Competition Procedure
(1) Participant Check-In
Participants must arrive at the designated waiting area at least 15 minutes before the competition begins.
(2) Competition Session
Competition Start: Participants must complete all styling operations within 30 minutes.
Competition End: Participants must stop immediately when time is up. Any unfinished work will not be considered for scoring.
The model will remain in position for judging and display.
Participants must promptly clean up their tools and products and restore their workstation to a neat and orderly condition.
