This competition evaluates the participants’ professional skills in basic skincare procedures such as makeup removal, cleansing, exfoliation, and mask application. Participants must complete all designated procedures within the specified time, demonstrating smooth technique execution and proper time management.
1. Cleansing Effectiveness
Whether makeup is thoroughly removed from the model’s face
Whether the procedure is performed gently
2. Exfoliation
Whether the pressure applied is even and appropriate
Whether the procedure avoids causing skin irritation
3. Mask Application and Removal
Whether the mask is applied evenly
Whether the mask is completely removed
Whether time control is appropriate and well managed
4. Cleanliness
Overall neatness and cleanliness of the competition area (before and after the competition)
Incomplete makeup removal (residual makeup remains)
Uneven mask application (uneven thickness or untidy application)
Failure to avoid sensitive eye and lip areas during exfoliation
Residual mask left on the model’s face
Exceeding the allocated time
Untidy working surface
1. Cleansing
Thoroughly cleanse the model’s face to remove light makeup, oil, and impurities
2. Exfoliation
Use a mild exfoliating product and gently massage
Remove dead skin cells while avoiding skin irritation
3. Mask
A clay mask must be used uniformly
Select a suitable product according to the model’s skin type
Apply evenly, allow to set, and remove thoroughly
1. Model
The model’s head must rest against the back of a chair
Feet placed flat on another chair
The body should remain relaxed to ensure comfort throughout the procedure
2. Participant
The participant must stand behind the model’s head
No obstacles are allowed between the participant and the model
Procedures must be carried out according to the required sequence
Participants must wear a white professional beauty uniform with covered shoes (slippers are prohibited)
Hair must be neatly tied up, not left loose; no accessories are allowed to maintain a professional image
Participants must provide their own female model with healthy skin and no severe allergies; the model must enter with light makeup (including foundation, eyebrow makeup, eye makeup, and lip makeup)
Models must dress appropriately in a simple and neat manner; hats or any accessories that cover the face are prohibited
Participants must select suitable products according to the model’s skin type
Only clay masks are permitted for this competition; other types (such as soft masks, sheet masks, or gel masks) are not allowed
White small towels (3–5 pieces), approximately 30cm × 70cm (for head wrapping, hand wiping, etc.)
White large towels (1–2 pieces), approximately 70cm × 140cm (for covering the model’s shoulders, neck, chest, and legs)
Facial towels, cotton pads, mask brushes, treatment bowls, small trash bins, wash basins, and other necessary small tools
Main products: makeup remover, facial cleanser, exfoliating cream (excessive granules are not recommended), and clay mask
Secondary products: moisturizing lotion, repairing serum, and sunscreen, etc.
Each participant must prepare at least 2 liters of clean water for cleansing procedures (makeup removal, mask removal, etc.). Water must be stored in well-sealed containers
All tools must be disinfected before and after the competition to prevent cross-contamination
All skincare products used must comply with safety standards and be confirmed suitable for the model’s skin type; appropriate quantities should be used to avoid discomfort
Participants must maintain cleanliness in their working area throughout the competition, with tools and products neatly arranged
After the competition, participants must clean up their working area and dispose of waste in their personal trash bins to maintain overall venue hygiene
The competition aims to assess participants’ professional skills in performing basic facial care, including cleansing, exfoliation, basic massage, mask application, and moisturization. Participants are evaluated on their ability to thoroughly cleanse light makeup, select appropriate products based on skin types, and demonstrate fluidity, professionalism, and instant results within the given time frame.
