(B3L) Beauty Therapy Double Facial Mask Treatment

  1. Competition Objective

The competition assesses participants’ professional skills in facial mask application, including the preparation, application, and removal of both clay and soft powder masks, as well as the improvement of skin condition after the treatment. The focus is on precise techniques, efficiency, and the ability to deliver immediate results.

  1. Scoring Criteria
  • Cleansing Effectiveness: Completion of the cleansing step, ensuring the model’s face is prepared for mask application while maintaining comfort.
  • Clay Mask Application: Even application of the clay mask with appropriate thickness, full face coverage excluding the eye and lip areas, and thorough removal without residue.
  • Soft Powder Mask Application: Proper mixing consistency of the soft powder mask, even and complete application, clean peeling, and residue-free skin condition post-removal.
  • Product Selection and Relevance: Appropriateness of the chosen masks and skincare products for the model’s skin type (e.g., oil-control masks for oily skin, high-moisture masks for dry skin).
  • Overall Treatment Effectiveness: Improvement in the model’s skin condition after treatment, including freshness, radiance, and hydration. Model comfort is also evaluated.
  • Professionalism and Hygiene: Smooth transitions between steps, proper tool usage, appropriate product handling, and maintenance of a clean and hygienic workstation.

  1. Competition Rules

(1) Competition Content

  1. Cleansing: Thoroughly cleanse the model’s face to remove light makeup, oil, and impurities in preparation for the mask treatment.
  2. Step 1 – Clay Mask: Apply a clay mask evenly across the face, avoiding the eye and lip areas. Leave the mask on for 5 minutes, then use a damp towel or cleansing sponge to remove it thoroughly.
  3. Step 2 – Soft Powder Mask: Prepare a soft powder mask according to the model’s skin type. Mix the powder with water to achieve the right consistency, apply it evenly across the face, and leave it on for 10 minutes. Remove the mask by peeling it off cleanly, ensuring no residue remains.
  4. Aftercare: Use appropriate skincare products (e.g., moisturizing lotion, repair serum, sunscreen) based on the model’s skin type to lock in hydration and provide further protection.
